International airport of Ankara, Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman and Izmir | Turkey

Diagnosis of five hydrant system

  • Realisation of five hydrant system operative audits in Turkey.
  • The diagnosis studies initially consisted in collecting and analyzing the essential technical data (plans, flow rates, etc.) from the different sites.
  • All diagnosis studies have been developed on the technical bases of international EI type standards.
  • The studies carried out by site made it possible to list, via simple diagrams translating the hydraulic models produced, the possible hydrant system design faults.
  • AFDN advised Petrol Ofisi on the solutions to adopt based on the specific problems highlighted by the studies.

  • All studies were drafted in English.

ROISSY CHARLES DE GAULLE Paris international Airport | France

Replacement of the hydrant system for Terminal 2A Lot 2

  • Management and supervision of the T2A works to replace 20” of the fuel hydrant system (DN 500mm), length approximately 95ml per line, with 5 pits to be created per line and 2 pits to be removed per line. Replacement of the pipes was performed with keeping a line in service for aircraft fuelling
  • Advice on the preparation of site and the supporting method
  • Determination of sequencing of tasks in order to produce a schedule
  • Supervision of civil engineering and pipework (monitoring of works documentation)
  • Monitoring of the progress of works on site and reporting to FCTP (earthworks, monitoring of construction, installation of pipelines and pits)
  • Creation of the final report

Client

FCTP

total VALUE

300 000 €

Intervention

FCTP chose AFDN to provide support in the replacement of the hydrant system for Terminal 2A at Roissy airport. This mission involved consulting and supervision of civil engineering aspects, with a view to ensuring respect of the schedule thereby enabling seamless integration into works being carried out at Paris’s airport.
